"Thank you for the beautiful tree. It made all the difference in the Christmas photos and brought holiday cheer to the HHT 1-108th Christmas party. Thanks for all you do for the troops and their families."
- Jennifer

"Thank you for the Christmas tree! This year, my husband and I celebrated our first Christmas together as newlyweds. He waited in line for hours at Scott Air Force Base and received one of the last trees on the lot. When he brought it home, we decorated with the ornaments we had and added the ornaments that a local Girl Scout troop gave John on base. This was each of our first Christmas tree. It is such a blessing to celebrate together this year since he was deployed in Iraq last Christmas. Thank you for adding to the blessing."

Recognition

The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation is grateful to have received the following awards for our efforts throughout the years.

Best in America Seal of Excellence

Best in America Seal of Excellence
The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation has been awarded the Best in America Seal of Excellence. The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to charities that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness. These standards include those required by the U.S. Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world. Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this seal.
