Donate/Contribute
I just wanted to say thank you for your kind note inside the card and thank you for the beautiful tree... My husband is...currently deployed over Christmas. Our children ages 8 and 5 had a wonderful time decorating the Christmas tree and I told them about how we received the tree from Trees for Troops. My 8 year old daughter, said "Wow, that was awesome that someone thought about our family during Christmas."
The holidays are hard on every military family but especially on the children. As a parent, it always warms your heart to see your children "grateful" for what someone has done for you. Also, we appreciate the the companies and employees who donated their time and money and the foundation who took the time to organize the Trees for Troops. We hope that your family has a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!!

In the Spirit of Christmas, we encourage everyone to volunteer some time to help others during the holidays. Donating your time during the Christmas season is equally important (and usually much more rewarding) as donating money. Your local church, synagogue or temple is a good place to offer your assistance. Your neighbors, the local homeless shelter, soup kitchen, American Legion, VFW, etc. may be able to use your services.
If you would like to volunteer and donate your time to the Christmas Spirit Foundation, we have a few ways that you can help us by simply using your computer!
Shop online at GoodShop.com and a percentage of each purchase will be donated to our cause! More than 600 top stores are participating including Amazon, Target, Staples, Best Buy and more!
GoodSearch is a search engine that offers a charity commision to non-profits when people use them to surf the net. GoodSearch uses the Yahoo search engine and index, so it's like searching on Yahoo. Simply visit http://www.goodsearch.com/?charityid=883889 to tie into our foundation account.
Every dollar counts!
InsiderPages is a local business/review directory on the Internet. They offer a fundraising opportunity for us in the form of a commission for your review or opinion of your local businesses. It's simple, they are looking for inside/local insight to your area businesses. Think of local restaurants, doctors, plumbers, hairdresser/barber, handyman, mechanics, carpet installer, tree farm, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: insider pages will donate around four times as much to the Foundation if the review is a "first review" (in other words, it is either a business that has not yet been reviewed or a business that is not in their directory) than a 2nd-4th review. So if you can find unreviewed or unentered businesses, all the better.
Complete Insider Pages guidelines/rules can be found here.
