I'm a mother of four with a lot to be thankful for. I have happily accepted words of thanks for my husband's military service in the past. This year, Christmas fell in the middle of a fifteen month deployment, and somehow the free tree felt like a real thank-you. The house still smells like Christmas tree as we come close to welcoming 2008. The picture is the one we e-mailed to Daddy for Christmas.

We are grateful to have received the following awards for our efforts.
In 2006, CSF was honored with a PRSA Silver Anvil Award of Excellence for its work on the Trees for Troops program. The Silver Anvil recognizes the highest standards of performance in the public relations profession in the areas of research, planning, execution and evaluation.
In 2006 and 2007, CSF received the Associations Advance America Awards for its work with the Trees for Troops program. Now in its 18th year, the Associations Advance America Awards program honors associations that propel America forward with innovative projects in education, skills training, standards setting, business and social innovation, knowledge creation, citizenship and community service. The Award of Excellence is the second highest award an organization can receive.
In 2008, CSF received the Summit Award, which is the highest possible award an organization can receive from ASAE.
In 2009, CSF received this award for its implementation of Trees for Troops. This award recognizes outstanding cause marketing campaigns, which is an alliance between a non-profit and a corporate entity who join together for a cause.

The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation is partnering with Greater than Goods to sell t-shirts and sweatshirts benefitting the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation's Trees for Troops program.
Greater than Goods works with non-profits to create cause-related t-shirts and apparel and donates a portion of the proceeds to the cause. For every Trees for Troops item you purchase from Greater than Goods, $5 will be donated to CSF for the Trees for Troops program.
